SGG Miralite Revolution Mirror Clear

What’s more! Miralite Revolution mirrors undergo a series of tests in the most demanding conditions. The infinitesimal concentration of natural lead makes Miralite completely eco-friendly and safe for the health as well. At less than 50 ppm and 6 g/m3of VOC (Volatile Organic Compound), it stands well below the currently specified norms. Produced without copper, it also does not contain any phthalate.

Saint-Gobain Glass brings Miralite Revolution, a revolutionary new product in the mirrors segment. Made from mirror glass that is among the clearest in the world, Miralite is naturally clearer, brighter and free from distortion. A result of exhaustive Research & Development programmes, Miralite reflects the highest degree of quality and durability. Its toxic-free components help reduce the ecological footprint while favouring health and well-being. Adding to the aesthetic appeal and enhancing the ambience, Miralite Revolution is poised to be clearly the brighter choice among its peers!

Thanks to its unique property of enhancing internal spaces with increased light levels, conviviality and complementing the original ambience, Miralite Revolution is ideally suited for both the living and working space. This includes applications in mirrors - mirror (s), wall mirror, glass mirror, bathroom mirror, mirror glass, mirror wardrobe, decorative mirrors, designer mirrors, mirror furniture and several other exterior applications.

Complete purity of raw materials through dedicated processing plants and reduced iron content in the base glass contribute to this superior brightness. The mirror comes with multiple coats of lead free paint. A stringent quality control measure makes the mirror distortion free too.

With less than 5 grams of lead per tonne of paint and 6 g/m3of VOC (Volatile Organic Compound), Miralite Revolution is designed to be the ideal choice for better health and a safer environment.

SGG Sol-Lite

SGG SOL-LITE is designed to control the heat inside the home, allowing optimal lighting throughout the day; creating pleasant temperatures. It adds elegance, beauty and at the same time helps reduce energy costs by the use of cooling systems.

SGG SOL-LITE , reduces heat to the interior and has a market value similar to that of a traditional glass.

  • Keeps the interior of your home cooler.

  • Reduce the use of energy by air conditioning.

  • Protects your furniture from discoloration due to solar rays.

  • It allows the passage of visible light.

  • Reduces the reflections caused by the sun's rays.

  • Gives privacy by reducing visibility from the outside.

SGG PARSOL is a body tinted glass manufactured by float process. It is a tinted glass with a coloured appearance, and also has the properties of basic solar control glass. This tinted glass is specially designed for exterior applications such as glass windows, glass roofing etc.

SGG PARSOL. is a body-tinted glass, manufactured in the same way as SGG PLANILUX clear float glass. SGG PARSOL has a coloured appearance, as well as basic solar control properties.

SGG PARSOL, like SGG PLANILUX, is intended for universal applications where an attractive appearance or basic solar control properties are required:

  • Interior applications for decoration, fittings and furniture

  • External applications in single or double-glazing, for facades and overhead glazing

Consistency in colour: Through strict quality controls, Saint-Gobain Glass India ensures that the tinted glass it makes is the same within a batch and across batches- year after year.

SGG Stadip Safety Glass

Laminated safety and security glass, SGG STADIP or SGG STADIP PROTECT, comprises two or more sheets of glass bonded together with one or more interlayers of polyvinyl butyral (PVB) film.

SGG STADIP glass incorporates a single PVB sheet with a nominal thickness of 0.38 mm, distinguishing it from SGG STADIP PROTECT glass which has a minimum thickness of 0.76 mm. Laminated glasses with different levels of safety and security can be obtained by varying the number and/or thickness of each of the components.

If the glass breaks, the fragments of glass are held in place by the PVB interlayer(s). In fully framed installations the broken glass retains a residual strength while awaiting replacement.

Protection against injury

If the glass breaks, the fragments of glass remain bonded to the interlayer. This safety feature, which is often mandatory (for example: in public buildings, schools, creches, etc), is also ideal for residential buildings, where it protects the occupants.
The use of glass in roofs must meet safety, enhanced thermal insulation and solar protection requirements. Safety is ensured by the use of a laminated safety or security glass (inner leaf of the overhead glazing). If an object falls onto the glazing, SGG STADIP PROTECT may prevent the object from passing through the glass and also minimises the risk of fragments falling into the space below.
Depending on the composition, SGG STADIP PROTECT laminated security glass ensures that structures conform to the regulatory requirements for overhead glazing.

SGG Reflectasol Glass- Bronze, Green, Blue

This reflective solar control glass product is manufactured by a process known as “on-line Pyrolytic coating” wherein silicon-based coating is applied to the glass surface by means of pyrolysis. Also known as hard coating, the process fuses precious metal oxides onto the surface of the float glass at high temperature while the glass is in formation. The coating imparts a “mirror-like” appearance to Reflectasol, giving a visual appeal.    DESCRIPTION SGG Reflectasol is a reflective, solar control glass that has been carefully designed to meet the twin requirements of architects, namely, the functional and the aesthetics.  PRODUCT APPLICATION SGG REFLECTASOL is suitable for most types of facade glazing in buildings:

  • Offices

  • Commercial buildings

  •  Schools

  •  Industrial buildings

  • Apartment blocks

Its attractive appearance also enhances the interior of a building:

  • Reflective quality: creating a one-way observation effect in certain lighting conditions, transmitting light whilst  screening vision.

  • Bevelled edges: to create a unique decorative effect (e.g. traditional internal doors)

  • External or internal use

  • High light reflectance and unique appearance

  • Low light transmittance, improves visual comfort against direct sunlight

  • Low light transmittance provides internal privacy, even in buildings with large glazed areas
